You can go to Why Linux, then once you are convinced you should start using Linux, you may find yourself asking which Distro? so you can go to Choose OS and use this great tool.

There is also a lot of tutorials and good tips like this one, explore the site, use its search box (upper right corner) you will surely find something good for you.
