I have taken these screenshots of an instalation of smoothwall, hope it helps

 This is the first screen you will se as soon as you reboot your PC with the smootwall Disk inside, don't forget that if you continue from here ALL YOUR DATA WILL BE LOST

Note that this software only work on IDE hard disk, i tried on a SATA disk and have no success

Your green interface is the one that is internal, and will look to your own network

If every thing went Ok you should be able to login with
